Sargeant Brian Schneider, U.S.M.C., graduated from
Marcellus High School in
2003. In October of 2003
Brian reported to Paris Island South Carolina where
he
completed his basic training in January of 2004.
Completing his combat training
in Camp Geiger N.C.
and M.O.S. schooling in Ft Leonardwood Mo., Brian
was
assigned to Camp Hanson, Okinawa, Japan in
April of 2004. In March of 2005
Brian was deployed to
Fallujah, Iraq where he was attached to the 3/4 infantry
unit for 6 months.
After returning to Okinawa and later Camp Lejeune,
N.C. in
May of 2006, Brian was again deployed to Iraq
in August of 2006. Currently Brian
is serving in support
of Regimental Combat Team 5, one of the Marine Corp
units currently training the Iraqi Army. Brian is
scheduled to return to Camp
Lejeune, N.C. in late
March.
Brian is the son of Tom and Marilyn Schneider of
Amidon Dr., Marcellus
