Marcellus Senior High’s Junior Class Wins Top Prize in
Discover Marcellus Fall Festival Homecoming Parade
With plenty of Marcellus spirit, The Junior Class at Marcellus Senior High
School walked away with the top prize in Saturday’s Greater Marcellus
Community Chamber’s Discover Marcellus Fall Festival Homecoming Parade.
The class will be awarded $200 for their float entry: Tailgate in ’08! The Senior
Class took the second place prize of $100. The prize money is donated by the
Greater Marcellus Community Chamber.
Marcellus Mayor Michael Plochocki served as the judge. The classes were told the entry demonstrating the most Marcellus spirit would win. Plochocki said the Junior Class was the most outgoing and enthusiastic throughout the entire parade route.
