My mother, Patricia (Murphy) Marcel is up there now for my cousin J. Edward Murphy's wedding, and now that I have a son and have graduated nursing school, I think my son and I may visit soon, too.
Afterall, the Murphy's have lived in Marcellus for generations.

I lived in Marcellus in the early 1942-43. There was a woolen mill there and a chicken farm. We lived across from a grocery store. Then in to a house belonging to the wool mill. We only lived in Marcellus a short time. Would like to know what industries are located there now. Any information would appreciated. bd

After living in the SF/Bay area since 1990, I have moved back to the East Coast and living in central Jersey. Will be coming up next weekend to attend Brud Wilson memorial and see the parade and of course visit the Old Home Days. Brud spent many hours coaching at Marcellus and I will always remember the lessons he taught us. Great memories of a very special person how touched the hearts of many athletes in the MCS system. Looking forward to seeing many faces that I have not been in contact with for the last 20 years!!
