Hi, to all who might remember me. I graduated Class of '70. My parents just moved to Danville, PA last May and my mom, Phyllis Gammon, passed away on 3/3/10. My brother, Dave, told me about this site, so I checked it out to post the note about her as she was very involved in many aspects of Marcellus. I loved growing up here! And I love to return here to the relaxed pace and beautiful scenery - so far from my current urban life.

I'm very grateful for all the information that was given to me by Marcellus citizens regarding my two uncles who were residents of Marcellus during the 1930s and the 1940s. Marcellus seems to be a friendly place and I hope to visit there at some future date.

A very cool place to grow up. Graduated in 78. I remember Judy King, cutest girl in our class. And can picture Tim skiing in bib overalls.
I miss the spring, My friend David Jankowski, and living in a place where everyone seems to know everyone.I got to get back soon. :

hey to all in my old home town!!! wow! just found this site! how awesome!! grew up just outside the village past nightingale mills. wow! what memories...late nights in the park, hickman's corner store, the old alvord house & i cant leave out cheeseborough u.s.a. i'll b checking back in in a few!! miss the fall there. so pretty!! peace

I grew up in Marcellus. I left in 1967 to go in the Marine Corps. Marcellus was a beautiful village then, as it is now. The best people in the world live there.

i just looked at the webcam pictures. i miss marcellus but not all the snow. it's 50 degrees here and everybody's bundled up like eskimos. this is a great site. i like to look at the pictures and read the history of the town.
