Zoning Board of Appeals
The Zoning Board of Appeals is a five person board appointed by the Town Board. The Zoning Board of Appeals has original jurisdiction over interpretation of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Marcellus and the issuance of Special Permits in conformance with the Ordinance. The ZBA also hears appeals for variances of area and use in accord with section 267-B of the Town Law. The Board of Appeals must act in strict accordance with the procedure as specified by law and by the Town of Marcellus Zoning Ordinance.

Duties include recording meeting minutes, preparing monthly meeting agendas, assisting the public with applications, and answering questions pertaining to Planning & Zoning projects.
